Glue Baby Tiny Terra Series 22
a closer look at some of the Glue Babies from Tiny Terra Series 22
Hello all! I held this Glue Baby Tiny Terra Series 22 recap back just a little bit so that I wouldn’t repeat last month’s two-posts-in-a-row-then-nothing-for-weeks posting schedule from last month. Here it is, though, and with Series 23 coming out next week I feel like this is a nice way to say goodbye to Series 22.
The group photo feels like a class photo from school to me; as in, here is the graduating class of Series 22!
Series 22 was released in February and I wasn’t going to do any classic pink/red/white pieces with hearts since the update was pushed back until the 20th, but I did a vote on IG and a bunch of people wanted the classics, so I made just a few, including this really pink piece. I’m so happy that I ended up making them because I actually love them.
This Tiny Terra is based off of the Valentine shakers I made last year that were glow in the dark. All the little heart sprinkles glow in the dark and there are nearly invisible rhinestones that glow as well.
The first Tiny Terra in this series were these melty macarons and I made matching shakers for this month as well. I loved the little macarons when I found them and they reminded me of the elusive Home Goods macaron stool that I was unable to track down but still want. The little whip dollop was used in the 2024 Valentine’s Terra mini collection.
This is the least Valentine-y piece in the series, but quite a few people said it was their favorite. I made some of these undersea gardens last month and couldn’t wait to make a few more. Pink and blue continues to be a classic and beloved color scheme. (Spoiler for Series 23: I made more.)
This gold flower piece is one of my favorites of the month. I used up the last of my matte gold pearls on it only to realize that they were going to be hard to get again due to the tariffs. Luckily, they were temporarily (?) suspended and I got a bunch more pearls just in case. I think the gold with all the different shades of pink is so striking.
I thought February would be perfect to bring back these bejeweled pieces as well. I really enjoy how the purple looks with the warm-toned pink. It’s very hard to match the colors in the jewel since it reflects so many different ones, but that makes it a fun challenge.
I have been wanting to make some more Sailor Moon pieces and so I made a bunch of crescent moons, but then I got the idea to do a moon garden, similar to the undersea garden. As I was making it I thought what would happen if I added more moons and eventually turned one into an arch. It’s an idea I absolutely want to revisit.
It’s been a little bit since I’ve made any Cloudland pieces and I thought it would be fun to do a Valentine’s twist on them and use hearts instead of stars to decorate the clouds. I have had these hearts for well over a year and I think the are really cute. I also used pink clouds rather than the normal white to differentiate between these and the other Cloudland pieces.
Thank you all for reading this closer look at Tiny Terra Series 22! Tiny Terra Series 23 will be out on March 20th at 12 noon EST and paid Substack subscribers will get access to the Micro Terra drop on the 28th. I will see you again at the end of the month for my reflection and recommendations.
